FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

Ashish Manchharam is a seasoned Singaporean real estate entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in Asian real estate investments. He founded and grew 8M Real Estate—a lifestyle-focused platform curating F&B, boutique office, and hospitality concepts—to an AUM of S$1.45 billion before successfully exiting the business. In 2024, Ashish launched Elevate Capital to build on his track record of adaptive re-use and capture new opportunities across the broader lifestyle real estate sector. Based in Singapore, he has also lived in the UK, USA, and Hong Kong, and holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Rochester. Ashish channels his competitive spirit into football and racket sports, most recently immersing himself in the fast-growing padel scene.

PARTNER

Anthony Couse brings over 35 years of international real estate leadership across London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore. As former CEO of JLL Asia Pacific, he led 45,000 staff in 16 countries and delivered 35% revenue growth during his tenure. A recognized voice on real estate trends, sustainability, diversity, and the future of work, Anthony has spoken at global forums including the World Economic Forum and the Milken Institute. At Elevate, his focus is to scale investor partnerships, drive acquisitions, and strengthen asset management strategies.

An avid marathon and triathlon competitor, Anthony approaches business with the same energy and discipline he brings to endurance training.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Tripp brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial spirit and corporate leadership, having built real estate ventures and steered companies through periods of significant transformation. He began investing in Singapore during his 16 year tenure at the Washington State Investment Board (WSIB), where he played a pivotal role in partnering 8M Real Estate alongside founder Ashish Manchharam. He later served as CEO of Manulife US REIT, leading the Singapore-listed trust through market volatility and a complex recapitalization while overseeing day-to-day operations. Tripp has lived and worked in the U.S., Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and holds a B.A. in Geography and Urban Studies from Georgia State University.

DIRECTOR, ASSET MANAGEMENT

Janelle brings over 10 years of private-equity real estate experience across Singapore and Vietnam, combining deep market insight with a talent for building high-performing assets. Before joining Elevate, she was Associate Director at Gaw Capital, where she led asset-management strategies for core and value-add investments. Earlier, Janelle spent seven years at 8M Real Estate, establishing the asset-management team and shaping the company’s capabilities from its inception. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Real Estate) from the National University of Singapore Business School. Outside of work, Janelle sets her sights on the tennis court and indulges a keen eye for trends, be it food, fashion, or travel.

DIRECTOR, DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT

Sonny is an experienced real estate development professional specialising in large-scale mixed-use, hospitality, and urban redevelopment projects. With over 15 years of international experience across Singapore, Vietnam, and Canada, he brings end-to-end expertise across the development lifecycle, from project governance and design leadership to construction oversight and operational transition. He has held senior roles with leading developers including Adventus Holdings Ltd, UEM Sunrise Berhad and M+S Pte Ltd contributing to Singapore’s landmark developments DUO and Marina One. Sonny is a coffee enthusiast who enjoys refining his espresso craft and home brewing techniques.

DIRECTOR, BRAND & MARKETING

Vienna is a strategic marketing and brand leader with over 20 years of international experience spanning Asia, Australia, and Europe. She has led brand and marketing transformations across global consumer, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors, delivering measurable shifts in market perception, customer engagement, and business results. Blending creativity with commercial rigor, Vienna builds brands that stand out and stand for something—strengthening equity and enabling long-term performance. Outside of work, she mentors young entrepreneurs, is an avid equestrian, enjoys padel, and is always planning her next travel adventure.

ASSOCIATE, INVESTMENT & PORTFOLIO

With more than five years in real estate investment and asset management, Tian Wei draws on a strong track record of identifying and managing distinctive urban redevelopment opportunities. He spent over three years at 8M Real Estate, rising from Analyst to Senior Investment Analyst and working closely with the founder to source, underwrite, and manage landmark projects. He also served as Senior Investment Analyst at City Developments Limited and began his career with internships in private banking, corporate finance, and securities. In his spare time he enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, exploring great food and wine, and heading to the mountains to snowboard whenever he can.

ASSOCIATE, ASSET MANAGEMENT

Lok Lam is a real estate investment and asset management professional with experience across Southeast Asia and China. He has worked across real estate and private equity investments, with a focus on business development, fundraising, and investment underwriting. Prior to joining Elevate Capital Group, he was with Greenwillow Capital Management, where he supported investment and capital-raising activities across multiple markets. He holds a degree in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore, with a specialisation in Finance and a minor in Geographic Information Systems. Outside of work, Lok Lam is an avid traveller and nature enthusiast, drawn to offbeat adventures.

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER, FINANCE & OPERATIONS

Kok Way is a finance professional with experience in real estate, financial reporting, and auditing. Prior to joining Elevate Capital Group, he was Finance Manager at TPG Angelo Gordon, overseeing financial operations and reporting for its Korea real estate platform. Earlier, he spent four years at KPMG leading audits for clients including City Developments Ltd, Lendlease Asia Group, First Sponsor Group, and Singapore Airlines. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). And as an active pickleball player, he brings the same focus, strategy, and teamwork from the court to his professional work.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Ashley is an experienced executive support and office management professional with a proven track record supporting senior leadership across the banking, finance, legal, and real estate sectors. She specialises in executive support, office operations, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional alignment. A trusted partner to executives, she is recognised for her sound judgment, professionalism, and ability to anticipate needs—ensuring seamless execution and enabling leaders to stay focused on strategic priorities. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time in nature, photography, travel and baking.
